National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21st is a day to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. For this occasion, CanHepC is inviting you to a webinar on Monday 19 June, 2023 featuring a presentation by National Indigenous Coordinator, Kacheena Naytowhow, aiming to provide a better understanding of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples’ journey through time, and where they are today. The webinar will give regional context, describe some of the key moments in Indigenous history, and how this has shaped them today. The presentation (in English) will be followed by a discussion and question period.
