Mélanie is an MSc Epidemiology student at McGill University studying under the supervision of Dr. Marina Klein and Dr. Erica Moodie. Mélanie obtained her BSc in Honours Health Studies from the University of Waterloo where she investigated the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on overdose mortality for her undergraduate thesis. Mélanie's current research focuses on predicting overdose mortality in an HIV-HCV co-infected population.
