I can't wait! World Hepatitis Day

Today, July 28th, is World Hepatitis Day. For the occasion, we’ve regrouped different initiatives, online tools, articles, videos and other activities organised by CanHepC and our partners.

  • In this video, CanHepC member Daryl Luster, Peer Programs Lead at the BC Hepatitis Network, delivers a vibrant message about his own lived experience of hepatitis C and his journey through treatment before the DAA era. 
  • CanHepC Student trainee article looking back at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on hepatitis C elimination in Canada, lessons learned and where to go next.

  • If you have missed it you can now watch the World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Viral Hepatitis which took place this past June 2022.
  • The pewaseskwan Indigenous Wellness Research group has a number of ongoing project focused on the health of people living with hepatitis C that brings traditional Indigenous knowledge and medicines to the forefront.
